The most famous beach of Chios, Agia Fotini (Fotia) is located about 1 km away. The beach is organized with cafes, restaurants.

At 500 meters is the village of Kallimasia with 1000 inhabitants, it has a super market, cafes, restaurants, etc.

At 2.5 km is the picturesque village next to the sea, Katarraktis, with very nice fish taverns.

The town of Chios is about 10 km, 15 minutes by car.

Southern Chios is very easily accessible (Komi, Emporios, Mavra Volia, Pyrgi, Olympi, Mesta).
